Review: BeautyBiotics Exfoliating Jelly

Another product by BeautyBiotics was sent to me!! Can't express how excited I was to try it out. But as exams were near, I had to push all review to the last minute :/

Feel so terribly sorry because I have not been posting. I'm not really feeling very good about myself so I have not been taking photos of myself sighhhhh. Do you feel this way about yourself too? Like you just want to curl up into your shell and hide forever?

My issue aside, let's bring you through the new product I received!

BeautyBiotics Exfoliating Jelly

Exfoliating Jelly is a dermatologically formulated gentle exfoliating peel that helps unclog pores, remove impurities and dead skin to enhance your skin’s absorption of nutrients. It contains fruit derived AHA + BHA enzymes that gently exfoliates skin to restore clarity, brilliance and radiance. It is also gentle on sensitive skin.

Directions:
Ensure that the face is completely dry. Dispense and apply exfoliating jelly onto the face and massage deeply in a circular motion until you see impurities and dead skin exfoliated. Wash face with water and pat dry. Use once to twice weekly.

** I only exfoliate once every 10 days because my beauty therapist told me that my skin was very thin and I can't afford to exfoliate every week as it may cause my skin to be over sensitive**

WARNING: You are about to see some (alot, actually) of dead skin, if you think it's eeky, goodbye.

Circled some eeky flaky skin I always have lingering at my nose area. Timely for my review hehehe.

Be patient and pump slowly, it usually takes about 3-4 pumps for the liquid to come out~
It looks totally like C**e's, feels like it too!

Picture is a little blurry, but can you see those white particles? That's the nasty dead skin. OUT YOU GO!!

Now nowwww, the flaky skin is gone!

Well, there really isn't much to rave about because it is really effective! My skin was very smooth after washing away the impurities. My skin do act up sometimes but it didn't turn red or blotchy after using their Exfoliating Jelly!! Highly recommend this to girls/guys who have sensitive skin!!

After I vet the photos, I realised I do not really have alot of dead skin to be convincing enough for you to want to purchase it right? I got Lester to do it for me :p

As you can see from the second picture, the jelly was working it's magic hahaha. Look at how much dead skin was being removed!!

Comparing the last picture with the first, it can be seen that his skin was looking more radiant after exfoliating!

So convinced now?

Uhhhh.. Teatox??

I always see this popping out of nowhere in the middle of my newsfeed and I finally decided to give it a try!

How do I feel:

I can't really say that I don't feel lethargic anymore because I'm not even halfway through the teatox journey, so I'll keep updating! I'm still eating lots of oily food and had alcohol last night so I think it might not work that well on me *:(* We are suppose to do some exercise and eat light meals during the detox period but I just can't stay away from beer. Much more discipline is needed!!

Review: BeautyBiotics Collagen Cleanse

Another BeautyBiotics' product! DREAM CREAM COLLAGEN CLEANSE!

(I just realised how nice I drew my eyeliner that day lolol, the wing is... perfect hahaha)

I received it few days back but there was no one home to help me with the shoot so I had to look for Lester for help. I'm quite bad when it comes to other people taking my photos. Probably because I selfie too much till I'm so comfortable with my own angles and all...But the pictures taken wasn't THAT bad, well, at least to me!

Lol he snapped a picture of me when I was taking the cleanser out from the box. Check out my high bun.

Presenting you the "cock-eye" face. Lester was making fun of me big time and I think he had more fun taking photos as compared to me, who was desperately trying (yes trying) to look glam even though I was removing makeup, tsk.

It has a really strong smell (fruity but I didn't really liked it, personal preference though!)

Look at how fine it is! So here are the instructions on how to use it!

Directions:
Step 1: Pour a small amount of collagen crystals onto your palm.
Step 2: Mix with water and rub to form a lather.
Step 3: Apply the foam onto your face in a circular motion and massage for a few minutes to allow the nano-collagen to be deeply absorbed. Rinse well and pat dry. Use day and night.

Now now, time for the before-after photo!!!

Before: Taken right after make-up removal. Oily yucky skin.
After: It felt really good really. Like super squeaky clean. If you're like me (I like to feel my skin super smooth after washing), you have to get this!

Comparing to brand X marshmallow cleanser, I would choose this over X anytime because I can really feel my skin clean and smooth. Which X, can't deliver. It is a little on the pricey side but how can you be stingy over skincare products?? I always believe in good and expensive skin care regime rather than expensive makeup. I mean.. You still look the same with Chanel foundation and ZA one's, yes? Probably you might want to bluff yourself to thinking it's way better but come on, seriously, who can tell if you're using Chanel's or ZA's just by looking at your face. You get my drift.

Review: La Roche-Posay UVIDEA Series

So much love from Sample Store! I managed to get selected to do this review and you girls just don't understand how excited I get when I receive products to review or even when I purchase samples from Sample Store. I just can't stop trying out new skincare/make-up products and Sample Store is the perfect place for me ^^

This post will be about La Roche-Posay UVIDEA Series. I received the XL BB Cream and also the Aqua Fresh Gel.

I tried to take before & after photos for the Aqua Fresh Gel but seriously, there's not much difference because it has a really thin finishing and it's really barely there. I almost forgot I already applied once and wanted to apply another time lol, blur me.

With Aqua Fresh Gel applied, there's no need for primer anymore! I then applied the XL BB Cream~

Yes, I know the timestamp is irritating lol. Forgot to switch it off because I'm not used to the stupid Canon camera. And because I couldn't get the right angle, I had to wait for Jolene to snap a photo of me after the BB Cream.

I (touch wood first) don't really have troubled skin so coverage was never a problem for me. I'm just cursed with sensitive skin and as you can see from the "before" picture, there's slight redness on my cheek and nose area. But after the application of BB Cream, it was covered well. 

Here comes my verdict. I might be kicked out of the seeder's programme but hell, I don't want to lie about how I felt about the product. Yes, the coverage was good but it was too sticky for my liking and had a rather shiny finishing but both the stickiness and shiny finish can be fixed with loose powder of course. However, it left a very "choked up" feeling on my face and I really didn't like it. I have combination skin so oily foundation will make my face produce more oil and it's plain gross so no, this is a no-go for me but the sun screen is definitely going into my daily make-up routine!

Firstly, it's the UV-White Nano Powder.

benefits of a cream such as hydration.

Now time for the swatch! Please pardon me for the lousy pictures and edits because I'm really new at this heh.

I applied UV White Nano Mineral Powder first. It was very easy to apply as the puff is already attached to the bottle, all I had to do was to just puff it gently onto my face then smoothed it out with my hands. It has a very high SPF and serves as a sunscreen. This is something I've never come across before. Sunscreen in powder form?! That's really tempting for me, because I never liked liquid sunscreen. Makes my skin feels so clogged!

I will definitely recommend this because it is easy to apply, and so convenient to bring out! And you won't get your hands/fingers dirty by having to apply the normal liquid sunscreen!!

Next up, BB/CC Cream.

I've always been searching for good BB and CC cream and has settled for etude house's but the only concern I had was that my skin will start to become oily around mid-day, and I'm the kind of girl who doesn't like to touch up her make up. So by the end of the day, the amount of oil on my face is gross :<

I would say, I'm very impressed with the coverage. Redness on my face was almost all covered and leaving me a fair tone. The visibility of pores were also GREATLY reduced. I've issues on visible pores and this solves it. It's almost too good to be true!

After BB/CC Cream , you'll definitely need to set it with loose powder, so I applied BB+ Nano Luminescence Mineral Pearl Powder next!

Just look at that! My face instantly brightened and what I love most about the pearl powder is... IT'S SHIMMERY hehehe. These glitters does wonders to your face I tell you! I used to hate glitters because they get onto my clothes, my phone, actually everything but I'm starting to appreciate it more now!
