Review: Bio-essence Hydra Tri-Action Aqua Droplet Sleeping Beauty Mask

I've been on the hunt for good moisturizer because my current one is finishing and it's too expensive for my pocket (because I'm no longer working). It's from Missha and it costs about $60 and I do not want to spend so much on a moisturizer so I've been looking for an alternative ever since it was left with 1/4 of it's content...

I'm very picky when it comes to skincare. I cannot stand moisturizer which has a thick finish and I'll go for gel moisturizer over cream ones ANYTIME. I hate the sticky finish some moisturizer will leave me with! Then I had my eyes laid on Bio-essence's Hydra Tri-Action's sleeping mask and was waiting for my birthday month to purchase it. (5x bonus point okay, mai siao siao)

There was one Watson's sales recently and most of their items were on offer, so being the typical Singaporean, I went in to take a look. (P.S. these kinda sales will always make you buy things you do not need, so the further you can stay away from it -- the better) I saw Bio-essence's products were on mad offer but it was only worth it if I bought 2 so I decided not to purchase it this time round.

AND MY DECISION WAS RIGHT BECAUSE SAMPLESTORE SENT ME ONE TO REVIEW!! Omg you wouldn't know how happy I was when I received the invite woohoo. I was literally punching the air multiple times with BOTH my fists lol.

So here's how it looks like! Pretty similar to my own moisturizer, just that mine is a see-through container~

It's sealed up with a plastic wrapper so you don't have to worry about the cleanliness!

Bio-essence Aqua Droplet Sleeping Beauty Mask is made with our unique Bio Aqua Crystal Technology. This technology forms a protective shield over the hydrating

Used a spatula and took some of it contents onto the back of my hand!

After spreading them out, you can see the water droplets forming (inside the orange circle) and gosh I love the feeling of this moisturizer. It feels thicker than your normal gel moisturizer but it leaves your skin smooth and no, it does not leave your skin sticky afterwards. Favourite. Imma boycott all brands of moisturizer, I'm serious.

And of all moisturizers I've seen or used, it's always 50g and Bio-essence's is 80g. Wow. Just wow. This can last me probably 2.5 months!? You can even use this as an overnight mask -- just apply a thicker layer and wait for it to be absorbed before you head to bed! It also has a pleasant smell and I guarantee you to be able to sleep really well hehe. This is a must have for girls who have combination/oily skin!!

First Impression: I did not really fancy the texture at first but after I spread it out evenly onto the back of my hand, it instantly moisturizes my hand with a smooth, velvet texture -- Not sticky at all!

Captured the back of my hand without/with flash. I only applied to half of my hand and you can see the difference very clearly! Look how moisturized the right side of hand looks!

With SPF20, you can even skip your sunscreen if you're lazy! I'll still advice you to apply it everyday because prevention is better than cure!

[AD] Netrogena Brightening Cleanser

I was so excited when I received an e-mail from Sample Store and the product that I get to review is one of my favourite brand -- Netrogena!

Neutrogena is to launch their new Deep Clean products this week and I'm going to be the first few to try them out!!! ^.^

Received the Brightening and Hydrating Foaming Cleansers and I decided to give the Brightening Foam a try -- I've some blemish (I've no idea where it came from) on the right side of my cheek and I've been using brightening spot treatments on it and it's getting so much better and with this highly raved product, I'm really excited to see the outcome.

Neutrogena's Deep Clean products are well known for its' deep penetration into the skin to remove the impurities that might have been collected at the end of the day. I personally, do not own any brightening cleanser. Squeeze about 1cm of the foaming wash onto your palm and lather.

Lester has ALOT of dead skin. Probably his skin cells generate more quickly and hence always leaving his skin a rough texture. He also has senstive skin, much more sensitive than mine and there was also no redness observed after I exfoliate for him.

Most of the crumbs fell off my face before I could snap a picture :(  Nevertheless, this is a considerate amount of dead skin coming from me!! I usually do not have much.

Step 3: Rinse face and pat dry!

Didn't edit the brightness but I guess I didn't catch the same spot where I sat when I took the before photo tsk. 

After the gentle exfoliating, my face felt really smooth and it didn't cause redness to my skin. This will be good for girls/guys with sensitive skin. It also leaves a really nice berry smell and oh god I would use this everyday if I could!!! Exfoliating has never been so fun :p

Review: Beaute Forest Facial Masks

So fortunate to be Sample Store's beauty panellist because I get to try products (for free) and in return, I only have to blog about it. It is coming to the 3 months mark and I'm really happy with the opportunities given to me. Thank you Sample Store!! Don't worry, all my reviews are based on my honest opinions, so you'll see nothing but the truth here ^^

Okay. So how many of you actually mask everyday? Be truthful now. 

I usually give my face 2-3 days of "break" from mask. Not that I'm advising you to do so too, but I practice that because my masks will run out fast if I masked everyday!

I was being introduced to masks when I was in JC, probably 17? I bought masks from Taiwan but I just left them there, only masking occasionally. But recently, Jolene influenced me to mask more often so that brings us back to the part where I mask 4-5 days in a week. I'll alternate between brightening/whitening and hydrating masks. When those nasty pimples are out to kill my mood, I'll use soothing mask followed by my trusted Tea Tree Oil!

[AD] Bio-essence Radiant Youth Essence

Review: BeautyBiotics Collagen Cleanse

Another BeautyBiotics' product! DREAM CREAM COLLAGEN CLEANSE!

(I just realised how nice I drew my eyeliner that day lolol, the wing is... perfect hahaha)

I received it few days back but there was no one home to help me with the shoot so I had to look for Lester for help. I'm quite bad when it comes to other people taking my photos. Probably because I selfie too much till I'm so comfortable with my own angles and all...But the pictures taken wasn't THAT bad, well, at least to me!

Lol he snapped a picture of me when I was taking the cleanser out from the box. Check out my high bun.

Presenting you the "cock-eye" face. Lester was making fun of me big time and I think he had more fun taking photos as compared to me, who was desperately trying (yes trying) to look glam even though I was removing makeup, tsk.

It has a really strong smell (fruity but I didn't really liked it, personal preference though!)

Look at how fine it is! So here are the instructions on how to use it!

Directions:
Step 1: Pour a small amount of collagen crystals onto your palm.
Step 2: Mix with water and rub to form a lather.
Step 3: Apply the foam onto your face in a circular motion and massage for a few minutes to allow the nano-collagen to be deeply absorbed. Rinse well and pat dry. Use day and night.

Now now, time for the before-after photo!!!

Before: Taken right after make-up removal. Oily yucky skin.
After: It felt really good really. Like super squeaky clean. If you're like me (I like to feel my skin super smooth after washing), you have to get this!

Comparing to brand X marshmallow cleanser, I would choose this over X anytime because I can really feel my skin clean and smooth. Which X, can't deliver. It is a little on the pricey side but how can you be stingy over skincare products?? I always believe in good and expensive skin care regime rather than expensive makeup. I mean.. You still look the same with Chanel foundation and ZA one's, yes? Probably you might want to bluff yourself to thinking it's way better but come on, seriously, who can tell if you're using Chanel's or ZA's just by looking at your face. You get my drift.
