Review: Essential Sleeping Hair Mask

I have been mistreating my hair since 2012 by bleaching it myself to achieve ash blonde (didn't really turn out well and I had to bleach a few more times). I started having ombre hair and my hair ends were breaking everytime I washed and from then, the condition of my hair was terrible.

During my hunt for an inexpensive yet promising hair acre products, I chanced upon Essential Damage-Care series. I have been a loyal user of their leave-on hair conditional and now, thanks to Samplestore, I have the chance to try the improvised version!

Essential Sleeping Hair Mask

You must be wondering "Why do I need to apply mask to my hair before I sleep?!"

When sleeping, tossing and turning causes hair to rub against the pillow, creating friction. We call
such friction caused by the pillow as Pillow Friction.

• Pillow Friction causes the hair cuticles to open up unevenly, causing hair to be rough, frizzy or prone to tangles. We call such hair damage caused by pillow friction as Pillow Damage. 
• As a result of Pillow Damage, you wake up the next day with frizzy, unmanageable hair like a lion’s mane. This is commonly referred to as bed hair. 
• To solve this problem, people usually have no choice but to wash their hair in the morning. Washing hair ‘resets’ the uneven alignment of hair cuticles and makes hair smooth and manageable again. 
• However, by having to wash hair in the morning, they have to wake earlier and sacrifice beauty sleep.

Review: BeautyBiotics Exfoliating Jelly

Another product by BeautyBiotics was sent to me!! Can't express how excited I was to try it out. But as exams were near, I had to push all review to the last minute :/

Feel so terribly sorry because I have not been posting. I'm not really feeling very good about myself so I have not been taking photos of myself sighhhhh. Do you feel this way about yourself too? Like you just want to curl up into your shell and hide forever?

My issue aside, let's bring you through the new product I received!

BeautyBiotics Exfoliating Jelly

Directions:

WARNING: You are about to see some (alot, actually) of dead skin, if you think it's eeky, goodbye.

Circled some eeky flaky skin I always have lingering at my nose area. Timely for my review hehehe.

Be patient and pump slowly, it usually takes about 3-4 pumps for the liquid to come out~
It looks totally like C**e's, feels like it too!

Picture is a little blurry, but can you see those white particles? That's the nasty dead skin. OUT YOU GO!!

Now nowwww, the flaky skin is gone!

Well, there really isn't much to rave about because it is really effective! My skin was very smooth after washing away the impurities. My skin do act up sometimes but it didn't turn red or blotchy after using their Exfoliating Jelly!! Highly recommend this to girls/guys who have sensitive skin!!

After I vet the photos, I realised I do not really have alot of dead skin to be convincing enough for you to want to purchase it right? I got Lester to do it for me :p

As you can see from the second picture, the jelly was working it's magic hahaha. Look at how much dead skin was being removed!!

Comparing the last picture with the first, it can be seen that his skin was looking more radiant after exfoliating!

So convinced now?

Last but not leastttttt, BB+ Nano Luminescence Mineral Pearl Powder

It has a SPF40/PA +++ and it's selling point is on it's ability to minimize appearance of wrinkles and spots through its light-diffusing pearl crystals. Also though it's a powder, it has all the
benefits of a cream such as hydration.

Look at how fine the powder is!!

Now time for the swatch! Please pardon me for the lousy pictures and edits because I'm really new at this heh.

I applied UV White Nano Mineral Powder first. It was very easy to apply as the puff is already attached to the bottle, all I had to do was to just puff it gently onto my face then smoothed it out with my hands. It has a very high SPF and serves as a sunscreen. This is something I've never come across before. Sunscreen in powder form?! That's really tempting for me, because I never liked liquid sunscreen. Makes my skin feels so clogged!

I will definitely recommend this because it is easy to apply, and so convenient to bring out! And you won't get your hands/fingers dirty by having to apply the normal liquid sunscreen!!

Next up, BB/CC Cream.

I've always been searching for good BB and CC cream and has settled for etude house's but the only concern I had was that my skin will start to become oily around mid-day, and I'm the kind of girl who doesn't like to touch up her make up. So by the end of the day, the amount of oil on my face is gross :<

I would say, I'm very impressed with the coverage. Redness on my face was almost all covered and leaving me a fair tone. The visibility of pores were also GREATLY reduced. I've issues on visible pores and this solves it. It's almost too good to be true!

After BB/CC Cream , you'll definitely need to set it with loose powder, so I applied BB+ Nano Luminescence Mineral Pearl Powder next!

Just look at that! My face instantly brightened and what I love most about the pearl powder is... IT'S SHIMMERY hehehe. These glitters does wonders to your face I tell you! I used to hate glitters because they get onto my clothes, my phone, actually everything but I'm starting to appreciate it more now!
